Deep gratitude. Empathy, professionalism and real help.
Anna Tsaousi, MSc
Anxiety, your relationship with food, difficulties in your relationships. We work together, at your pace, so everyday life feels manageable again.

MEET ANNA
The first step is often the hardest. In our sessions you have room to say what's on your mind, exactly as you think it. I listen carefully, and together we look for practical ways to handle what's been difficult.
I work with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, a research-based approach that focuses on the present: the thoughts, feelings and habits that keep you stuck in a tiring cycle.
After you book, I'll call you for a brief chat so we can see together whether I'm the right person to help.
What we talk about stays between us.
At the office in Ioannina or by video call, wherever you are.
WHAT WE CAN WORK ON
Thoughts that won't stop, a tight chest, trouble sleeping, constant worry about what comes next. You learn to understand what sets your anxiety off, and we try out ways to handle it during your day. Includes panic attacks and phobias.
When food, weight or body image take up a big part of your thoughts. We work with understanding and without judgment on the thoughts and habits behind it.
Conflict, distance, finding it hard to set boundaries or to trust. In individual sessions we look at how you relate to others and what you'd like to change.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
You don't have to wait until things feel "serious enough". If something has been on your mind for a while, wears you out, or affects your sleep, work or relationships, it's worth talking it through. Many people come without knowing exactly what's going on, and that's completely fine.
The first session is a chance to get to know each other. You tell me whatever you want about what brings you here, in whatever order it comes out, and I ask questions to understand better. You don't need to prepare anything. At the end we talk together about how we could continue.
Yes. Everything we discuss is covered by professional confidentiality and isn't shared with anyone, including your family or your employer. The only exceptions are those required by law, such as a serious risk to your life or someone else's.
We usually start with one session a week. How long we work together differs from person to person, and we discuss it as we go. You can stop whenever you want.
That's why I call you before the first session, so we can see together whether I can help with what you're going through. If what you need calls for someone with a different specialisation, I'll tell you honestly and try to point you in the right direction. And if at any point you feel we're not a good fit, we can talk about it openly.
